Drum circles are an excellent team building activity that can help to improve communication, collaboration, and creativity among team members. By participating in a drum circle, team members can learn to listen to each other, work together to create a cohesive rhythm, and express themselves in a non-verbal way of team building activity. This can help to break down barriers and build trust, which can lead to improved teamwork and productivity. Additionally, drum circle team building can be a fun and engaging way to relieve stress and boost morale, which can have a positive impact on overall team performance and thats why this new team building activity fits the best for all employee engagement.

includes each and every individual who cherishes co-learning and newness all through the lens of rhythms.

Feel free to join the city tribes and attend the open drum jam activity organised in by the tribe. Share your rhythm experiences and growth by stories, pictures and videos.

Also, never hold yourself back if you are the organiser kind and wish to organise jam sessions yourself. Use the community forum to connect with the people in your area and mutually take care of the basic needs for the jam sessions and rhythm parties.

In our journey of rhythms, we may find new places which are very very inspiring for rhythms or inner journey, there can be new people whom we meet in explorations of musical insight, different rhythms from all across globe varying from ancient folk rhythms to modern contemporary, so many drumming styles can come across our ways. The tribe forum is a place to gift this exploration to the fellow tribe mates.

There can so many questions in the process of learning which someone might have an answer to. Forum can help us find out the solutions to problems like finding the right instruments, searching good places to get instruments or looking out for a rhythm teacher or instructor for learnings.

Activity is the only symbol of youth and we wish to keep this tribe thriving with youth, let's better keep this place active with all our discussions and sharings!

What is a Drum Circle?

Drum circles originated in the United States during the late 1960s and early 1970s for any group of people, particularly counterculture groups, who gather (informally) to play music together. The terms "drum jam" or "jam session" could be substituted. Settings include beaches, parks, concert parking lots, festivals, and retreats. The determining criteria for a drum circle are that the music is improvised and co-created by the participants. Drum circles may or may not be open to the public, but the music is always a group expression, not constrained by genre, instrumentation, or directed by one person or sub-group.

Healing Power of Drum Circles

The drum circle offers equality because there is no head or tail in a circle. It includes people of all ages. The main objective is to share rhythm and get in tune with each other and themselves while the core ideas remain:

  • To form a group consciousness.

  • To entrain and resonate.

  • A new voice, a collective voice, emerges from the group as they drum together.

Therapeutic rhythm techniques have been used for thousands of years to create and maintain physical, mental, and spiritual health.

Research indicates that drumming accelerates physical healing, boosts the immune system, produces feelings of well-being, and helps release emotional trauma. Drumming also induces deep relaxation, lowers blood pressure, and reduces stress.
